Elise Ruffell Ceramics

I currently offer a range of ceramic workshops working with students of all ages from 4 to adult and with all abilities.

Previous workshops have included:

• One day designing and applying surface decoration to plates with a group of 15 year olds
• Two days making tiles with the whole of a primary school - ages 4-11
• Two days making decorated vessels with a group of college students
• Ten days creating vessels and tiles with a class of 16 year olds
• Half day making a range of pieces with adults with physical and mental disabilities
• A project over two half days to create figurative pieces with a group of 13 year olds

I often taken part in schools' Creativity Days, running workshops in conjunction with other artists. I also run workshops in care homes in conjunction with on-site occupational therapists.

I have run workshops for the University of the Arts London and DAISI (Devon Artists in Schools Initiative).

I offer bespoke workshops depending on the time available, required outcome, ability and ages of the students (from 4 to adult).
I can source all materials and arrange to fire work if necessary.

I have full CRB accreditation and public liability insurance. References available on request.
